Intensive English Course in Australia

Intake

An intake will take place prior to the course to determine your current language level. You fill in a form, take an online test and have a personal (skype) conversation.

What does a week look like?

Strictly English
You will be exposed to English throughout the week. From the moment you enter until you leave home. You hear, speak, write, read and see English. All your senses are involved in learning the language.
The first day it may take some getting used to to speak English with each other, but our experience is that you get used to it quickly.

Programme:
Every day starts at 10.00 a.m. with conversation lessons where grammar and fluency is perfected. This is done on the basis of interesting topics that can be discussed from various angles. This versatility makes speaking about these topics meaningful and it offers many opportunities to enrich the English vocabulary.

After lunch, there is more experience to be had on cultural tours and activities around the city. Starting point throughout the day: talk a lot. Due to the small setting, there is plenty of room for personal attention and targeted feedback. The day closes at 4 p.m. The excursions are in line with the day themes, for example 'travel life' or 'global community life'. This requires all kinds of communication skills with local natives. The experience is then shared with the other participants, and communication skills are again reviewed. All knowledge and skills from the conversation lessons are applied during excursions. Fun and educational.

Due to the variety of subjects, way of teaching and being actively involved with the language, you will not only have improved your language skills but learnt about the Australian culture and way of life.
